Analyst Days: Yahoo (YHOO) on Wednesday and Intel (INTC - Annual Report) on Friday.
Companies We’re Interested in
Earnings: Intuit (INTU) on Wednesday after the market. Wal-Mart (WMT - Annual Report) on Tuesday before the open gives a glimpse into the consumer. Staples (SPLS) on Tuesday morning is a read on small business spending.
Analyst Days: Itron (ITRI) on Thursday.
Economic Data
Housing and Inflation are the keystones for the week. We have the NAHB Housing Market Index Monday, Housing Starts Tuesday and Mortgage Applications Wednesday. PPI on Tuesday and CPI on Wednesday will be closely watched.
We are more interested in Industrial Production on Tuesday and Thursday night’s Semiconductor Equipment Book:Bill report.
