More Service Issues at DELL
Much has been written about DELL’s service issues. So this report (via Gizmodo) merely adds fuel to the fire.
Users are reporting trouble with Dell’s model 2407wfp and 2407fp 24-inch LCD displays, complaining about video banding on the screens. Some have reported that the problem occurs when using DVI connections, adding that all is well when connecting to the display’s analog VGA connections.
Dell denies any reported problems, but we’ve noticed that the 2407 model is not available for purchase on any of Dell’s US-based websites. However, we did notice that the Dell 30-inch monitor with that same new style as the 2407 is still on sale.

We’ve said it before: Price cuts aren’t going to fix DELL’s service-related problems. Fixing its service will.
