The Week Ahead (19 Feb 2007)
The market takes a holiday on Monday, and the Economic Calendar is light all week. CPI on Wednesday is the closest thing we see to any excitement. There are also a handful of earnings announcements we’ll keep an eye on, but none that are on our watch lists.
So the real excitement will come from the lead-up to our birthday celebration, which we have arbitrarily set for February 28 (our own birthday – the first post was on March 8 last year.)
On Monday we are hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance.
On Tuesday we are hosting the Carnival of Investing.
And one week from Monday we are hosting the Festival of Stocks.
So you won’t have far to go to read the best financial posts the web has to offer this week. We’ll also try to spice it up with a “best of” series.
